Lost my ticker!

Ok not sure if that is really what it is called but I am talking about the thing at the bottom of my old blog(remember pink) that told me how many people had looked at my blog. I want to know if anyone is looking!! Lol Is that sad of me? Since no one comments at least with the ticker I could see if someone has viewed my stuff.

So last night Evelynn had the biggest tantrum I have seen her have ever!! Well since I can last remember. She is six now so it is not as though she has tantrums very often, what she has at six is called attitude and lip! Lol Remember we all had that once too and then we moved out hehe

It was sooo silly though. It was over not getting ice cream or being able to finish her movie. This tantrum resulted in screaming and crying and head banging and that was just from me!! No seriously she was pretty upset but I kept firm and did not give in. She is wayyyy too old to be behaving that way. I think (I know moms usually make excuses but this is for real) that all the missed sleep and time change from coming back from England has finally caught up to her. Honestly she is not a perfect child (darn near close though) but this was pretty unusual for her. Luckily she was in a better mood this morning. Actually she even made a little joke about her outburst last night. First thing she said after she got up was, “can I have some ice cream mom? …..just joking (giggle)” Yup that’s my girl. I will take her with all her outburst and all her silly humour.

Extreme Make-over!

Ok maybe not extreme and maybe not so much a make-over but more like make-up…or painting or I just changed the colour on my blog.

I was getting sick of looking at the pink. It was starting to make me ill and in need of Pepto-Bismol which in turn made me sicker because it was too pink and well…you can guess how that situation turned out! Anyway I like green. I like it a lot more than I like pink.

OK now that I got the big news out of the way on to more important topics.

As most of my friends know I have my camera with me most everywhere. I love taking pictures (much to my friends enjoyment..or lack of hehe) Photography is a big passion/hobby/interest of mine. Considering really there isn’t too much out that really reallyyyy draws me in I am more than happy to have something to get excited about.

Well I have decided that it was time to take my interest a little further. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of opportunities in Chatham to expand my skill. So I will start by taking baby steps. I am going to start with a small night class on digital photography. Next up is photoshop (which is a bit more money and hours but will be totally worth it if I can catch on to it) I will be keeping you posted on the progress and also sharing some pictures.

So hopefully you will all enjoy this adventure as much as me! Maybe one day I will be taking your picture!

Morning Blues

Blah. That’s what I have to say. Blah to today! It is a dark, gray, wet stay in bed kind of day. So blah because I had to get out of bed!

I had a wonderfully uneventful night last night! My biggest news was that I ran just over a kilometre without stopping. Did I mention yesterday was the hottest day since the beginning of time? You could slice the air with a knife and serve it on a plate with a scoop of ice cream. Yum. It was that good.

Well after my amazing one kilometre run and nearly dying when I got home. Only nearly dying because of the one kilometre run (see how that works…see what we do to ourselves all for the sake of…of…health! Ya Health hehe) I made dinner and cleaned the kitchen and played with my daughter. Awww does life get better?? I think not.

So isn’t that wonderfully uneventful? Pure bliss in the domesticated sense. Absolutely entertaining to read about. No? Ok well you know I never promised you a love song! Er…entertainment! I never asked you to take your time and read my silly blog now did I!?! ok…well maybe I did but I never said you would enjoy it! So don’t sit there and sulk like I let you down or anything…just suck it up and read my boring blog and make sure you make comments or you are going to bed with no dinner! I mean it this time!

The Adventures of a Has Been Was Not

Is it possible for me to stay focused on something? How many years has it been that I have tried to keep a blog running to no success? Is it that I am uninterested in the things that interest me? Does that even make sense? Most of what I say doesn’t make sense so it should come as no surprise. I am a Gemini after all. Hehe

Does it make it ok that I take things on with the best intentions? I think not. Well not that it is wrong but I need more then the best of intentions. I think now is the time in my life when I need to focus or become a has been was not. Was I not or was I a has been? Am I going in circles? Trying to confuse you and trick you into thinking I am saying something? Shhhh I will never tell. Hehe

Ok time to get serious. Time to speak my mind. I have the stage now use it. … ummm hi. Hehe just kidding.

Ok…best intentions check! Things to say check! Motivated check! I think I have the formula (for today) to keep this going.

OK so I am going to really work at this blog. For real this time. I know I say that every time but I mean it this time! I need to stay focused and motivated. Maybe I have no readers but I certainly wont get any by not writing.
