My Baby, or rather child, is now the wonderful, delightful age of 3! I couldn't be more excited and saddened at the sametime.
How fast these last three years have flown by. How many changes I have been able to experience with her. How much growing we have
both done.
I am excited to see what the next three years will bring for us. There will still be some first, not as many though. We have the first day of school, first lose tooth, first bike ride, first writen letter and read word. I am thrilled and so proud. I know it will be fantastic.
How I love being Evelynns mother. I could never have imagined what being a mother would be like. Now that I know for certain she can remember things i am even more excited to make every day as fun as possible. I know to be realistic there are going to be the boring lets just watch t.v. days...but I just want her to have amazing fun childhood memories.

Talk about her birthday now. Evelynn was very spoiled by all. She has so many new toys now and outfits. Lucky girl. We had a family party the Sunday before her birthday. A nice BBQ and Grandma & Grandpas house. Big Grandma & Grandpa came, Greg, Aunt Susan and Uncle Murray. Aleshia, Bryan and Dylan. April, Uncle Stweart and Joshua were there too. Of course Matt was there to enjoy the fun day.

The weather was not as nice as the day before but atleast we didn't get rained out and were able to stay outside for the whole afternoon. We played and had a nice BBQ dinner with Hamburgers and Hot dogs and tons of salads. Then it was present time! Evelynn was very cute reading her birthday cards. Here are what some read (to her anyway hehehe) 'Happy Birthday Evelynn', 'Chocolate cake'. It was funny.

Now she loved the cake. I was so happy. Although next year I plan on making my own because it sure cost a lot for a cake. $27!! I could have bought her a nice present with that money although she sure doesn't need anymore. Anyway the cake had all of her favourite princesses on them which are now on her dresser. She loved it and ate a whole big slice with it getting up to her eyes! I don't know where she gets that from because I made just as much of a mess as she did.

She was pretty worn out from the day and went to bed when we got home. The birthday didn't end there though. On Friday the 7th (her actual birthday) I had a small BBQ at my place for her. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Stewart, Joshua and Matt came. We had a ton of food. Ate steak and potatoes, corn on the cop, salad, susages. I had a pie too but we didn't get to that. More presents to open. She got an awesome princess scooter from Matts Mom and step dad. She loved it but couldn't figure out why is was missing the seat. She kept trying to sit on it but by the end of the night she was an old pro.

So three has come. I hear it is worse then 2 but I doubt that. I am excited about her growing up and developing into her own little person more and more each day. Saying that though, Not a day goes by that I don't dream of holding my baby again. That's the good thing about dreams though, you can always hold onto your dreams.
