Busy Weekend

Time for posting. Lots of catch-up to do. So I left off with my girls night with April. We pampered ourselves and it felt SOOO good. My face felt so soft after the mask. I want to do it again. Maybe next time with more girls and a night where I can sleep in in the morning so I am not watching the clock. We watched What dreams May come. It wasn't as good as I remembered it to be but was still worth watching if you haven't seen it before.

Didn't eat as much junk food as I thought I might. Which is a good thing but I am wanting those corn nuts now. I have no idea why but I have been craving junk like mad the last week or so. Good thing I am going to the gym with Aleshia tomorrow night as I am thinking it is starting to show. Darn those chips!!

Sunday Evelynn and I went out to Grandma and Grandpas for his birthday. We brought the cake we worked so hard on making the day before. I must say it turned out well and I think I have a natural born baker on my hands.

Grandpa liked the presents we got him too. So new socks which are important and a must. Some cowboy movies and some chocolates (Evelynn had her eye on them) So nothing too much but really what can you get someone that has everything. Also when I asked what he needed or wanted he said he just wanted a visit. So really anything we did get him was above and beyond what he had wanted. hehehe

I picked Kenny up from the truck stop on his way home from his busy weekend. What a good girlfriend am I. Wait it gets better. Drove him to his parents house (about 15 -20 min drive) and he had forgotten his CD's at the truck stop. About 250 of them. So the 'good' girlfriend I am drove all the way back there to save them. And save them I did. Boy is he lucky to have me!! hehe

Bad news is when we got back to my house his car still wouldn't start even after he boosted it with my car. So he was very very bummed about that. Good news is he was able to get it going tonight with a little help from one of his friends. I do think he is going to need a new starter though. Hopefully he can get by a little longer until he can get a proper job.

So Monday cooked a yummy dinner of chicken, noodles and beans. Evelynn loved it and kept wanting more. She really is a good eater but I am sure you can tell. Gave her a bath and read our books. She went to sleep just fine.

Played phase 10 with Sara and Kenny although Kenny dropepd out to watch CSI. Well so he says. I think he quit because he was losing. Sara ended up winning again. She is awesome at that game. It is a lot of fun.

So now...going to get ready for bed. My head hurts and I am really tired but atleast I was able to post today!
